Yes. All companies are required to pay ASIC’s annual review fee to keep their company active and registered.

Your review date is the anniversary of when your company was registered with ASIC. The annual review fee must be paid within two months of this date.

If payment is late, ASIC may apply the following fees:

  • One month late (three months from review date) = $98
  • More than one month late (four months from review date) = $411

In limited circumstances, ASIC may waive late fees if the delay was caused by events outside the company’s control. This can include ASIC processing delays, court orders, or records being damaged due to fire, flood, or other natural disasters.

You’ll be asked to sign ASIC Form 362, which authorises Lawpath to act as your company’s registered agent.

You’ll also review and sign a company review package containing your company details as recorded by ASIC, along with a solvency resolution, which must be signed by all directors.

A registered agent is authorised to manage ASIC correspondence on your company’s behalf.

This includes processing your annual review and making updates to company details when required, such as changes to your registered address or shareholder information.
